Hajj Qasem was deeply fascinated by the Ahl al-Bayt (as) and constantly recourse to them. Whenever he was going to the holy shrine of one of the infallibles (AS); he enjoyed to being near their holy shrine. He held the mourning assembly of imam Hossein (AS) and considered serving in the mourning assembly of Sayyid al-Shuhada (AS) a great honor for himself
