Mohammad Ismail Dolabi was born in 1903 in the village of Dolab in Tehran. As a young man, he was engaged in agriculture and at the same time participated in the meetings of contemporary religious scholars such as Ayatollah Shirazi, Shahabadi, Bafghi, Qomi and Sheikh Ansari. He held sermons in Tehran and explained mystical and moral concepts in simple language. This Shiite mystic because of the simple and fluent expression of ethics and mysticism in his meetings; he was the favorite of many young people. One of his moral advices was: The moral summary is two words: Do not sad and Do not upset others
